Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) principles are embedded in our construction processes.

Byrne Bros., however, take the view that the principles of off-site manufacturing should be integrated into the overall construction process where best applied, rather than wholesale replacement. In this way, we utilise a “hybrid” approach whereby prefabrication of rebar, the selective use of precast concrete, and general off-site manufacture is incorporated into the construction process where it is best utilised.

The results of this approach are clear: reduction of on-site labour, improved quality control and most importantly a safer way of building. Projects such as Heathrow T2B, the New Bloomberg European Headquarters and the Paddington Crossrail Station have all benefitted from this approach.
