Bank Station Capacity Upgrade

The project involves the construction of a new station entrance and ticket hall to the existing Bank complex. Consisting of a top down reinforced concrete (RC) 5 basement deep piled escalator box, located above a RC 4 basement deep SCL shaft, which forms the PRM (Persons of reduced mobility) access to the DLR and LUL Northern line.

Deep raft slabs are present at B01, B04, and B08, along with a deep transfer slab at roof level which is above the ticket hall. Works also include areas of secondary lining to the new platform, link and running tunnels, along with first stage concrete to the tunnels.
