The Lord Mayors Show 2024

Byrne Bros were delighted to participate in the Lipton Rogers float, ‘Building the City of London’ as part of The Lord Mayor’s Show. The parade is recognized as the oldest, longest, and best-loved civic procession in the world. Originating in the early 13th century, it began with King John allowing the City of London to appoint its own Mayor, requiring each newly elected Mayor to journey to Westminster to swear loyalty to the Crown.
