Byrne Bros. Staff participated under the name 'Byrne to be Wild' with two teams entered for the challenge in the beautiful but gruelling Lake District. The group of predominantly first timers achieved a superb result finishing 6th and 8th respectively. The teams worked together and broke the mental barrier running, cycling and paddling the course for a tough yet strangely satisfying 4 hours and 20 mins.
Commenting on the event team captain Jaco Van Niekerk said ''It was an amazing team experience that definitely took its toll on the bodies, a very big thank you to Phil, Michael, and Barbara for making this experience possible, ‘Byrne to be Wild’ will re-group and return with the top runners in 2025''
