The 2011 Duke of Gloucester's Young Achievers Scheme Engineering Award winner has highly praised a Byrne Bros. Senior Engineer in a new article written by the young engineer.
Ben White, Senior Engineer with Byrne Bros., is currently mentoring Chloe Agg after she was announced as the winner of the award by the Construction Youth Trust, an organisation supported by Byrne Group.
'Having won the Duke of Gloucester's Young Achievers Scheme Engineering Award, I'm privileged to be receiving mentoring from senior engineer, Ben White, of Byrne Bros.'
Although Chloe has only met with Ben once, a meeting at Heathrow Airport - where Ben is currently working, it is clear that he has made a fantastic impression on the youngster.
'The senior position he has risen to, and his own desire to stay a part of engineering, is a fantastic demonstration to me that I can achieve what I want.'
The Duke of Gloucester's Young Achievers Scheme Engineering Award is run by the Construction Youth Trust, an organisation which offers young people a path within the construction industry.
'The Construction Youth Trust has done an amazing job at managing to match me up with a mentor who really suits my ambitions.'
Ben will continue to mentor Chloe throughout the year. We look forward to hearing more about Chloe's progress within the industry and wish her the best of luck for the future!
