SCOPE OF WORK

The regeneration of Drake Circus has strenthened Plymouth's position as a regional shopping destination and has created a new 52,000 square metre Shopping Mall  that includes shops, restaurants and a food court, that generates new commercial life into the heart of city.

Construction of a major town centre Shopping Mall includes a 1,272 space five level multi-storey car park comprising of a basement and superstructure. The works combined an innovative use of traditional RC construction with a 550 square metre wide span, downstand free, proprietary Deltabeam composite floor plates supported by some 650  PCC columns.
