SCOPE OF WORK
The construction of Grand Arcade involved the redevelopment of a key city centre site to provide Cambridge with new retail accommodation. It includes a new anchor department store for John Lewis, a 600 space car park and 500 space cycle park As part of a major £80 million city centre retail development, Byrne Bros responsibilities included the sub and superstructure works to create two new retail floors and five level multi-storey car park. Retained 18th century listed buildings have been fully integrated within the new development.
