Following the success of sales of The Naked Truth calendar, produced andfunded by the Byrne Group, some of the people behind the project were ableto present a cheque for £153,403 to Steve Barnett, Chairman of constructionindustry charity The Lighthouse ClubThe Lighthouse Club provides financial support to families sufferinghardship following the loss of income from a construction industry workerwho has suffered an accident or illness. The fund gives monthly grants tocover essential living costs or one-off grants to cover the purchase ofessential household items from fridges to school uniforms to help familiesthrough a very challenging time.
