Byrne Bros shortlisted for Building magazine’s Sustainability Awards 2010

Byrne Bros made the shortlist in the Sustainable Contractor of the Year category of Building magazine’s prestigious Sustainability Awards.

The awards recognise and reward outstanding achievement in sustainability in the built environment and are a key benchmark for achieving best practice in the sector.

Byrne Bros’ entry was displayed among other shortlisted entries in a gallery exhibition which ran at the Building Centre, home of the UK Green Building Council, from 19 October until 30 November, The winners were announced at the awards presentation ceremony.

Byrne Group Health, Safety and Environment Director Michelle Tilley commented: “Reaching the shortlist of the Sustainability Awards for the second consecutive year is a great testament to the hard work that everyone puts into making sure we are minimising our impact on the environment.”
